3/4/10
Posted some pictures on the photos page of a beautiful customer's car that we tuned.

My Dodge RAM Diesel work truck is on the for-sale page.

Added a picture of the EFI Hemi in the dragster on the Photos page.

Well anyone that knows me, know I love Hemis.  I even wrote a book about how to build them.  But my dragster ran an EFI Wedge motor.  I just couldn't let that stay that way now that my Hemi book is out.  So I built a normally aspirated, pump gas (91 octane), EFI Hemi for the 2010 season.  Check it out on the Photos page.

1/5/10
FAST has just announced an EZ-EFI kit for Port Injection!  This has the potential of changing the entire EFI landscape.  No tuning, self learning system, with all the benefits of port injection. $875 + TB, injectors, etc.

12/20/09
A friend of mine has two engines for sale.  One is one that I personally built.  Check out the For Sale page for the details. Super low pricing!

11/20/09
Changed the video of the EFI street Hemi that's on the photo page to one of better quality.

11/11/09
Updated the products page.

10/27/09
Added a video of one of the EFI Hemis on the dyno (Photos page).

10/25/09
International customers who want to buy my book have been running into problems because the cost for international shipping is greater than the domestic $5.  So I changed the buy now button to properly add the correct shipping cost.

10/22/09
I've been very busy finishing a few Hemis and doing many tunes.  About all I can say is to go to the Photos page to see a few of these monsters.  A 572 EFI race Hemi is coming up to follow up with the engine I built in the book.

9/1/09
Since my book came out, the dual-inline Stage-V Hemi EFI manifold has become popular, so people have been asking me about the process.  Stage-V sells the manifold (as do I) but they do not do the fuel rails.  So I added a picture of a completed manifold to the top of the PHOTO'S page so people could see the black crossover I use etc.

I just returned form having a great time at the Mopar Nationals.  I sold lots of  books and even spent some time with Don Garlits.

7/30/09
I just received my first shipment of books. So I found out that due to it's weight it cost $4.95 to ship in the US (flat rate) and $13.90 to ship overseas, so I had to bump up the shipping charges. Sorry.

One of the best Blogs for Mopar people is moparts.org
If you are a moparts.org member I will tune your FAST Classic or XFI system for free at the Mopar Nationals in Columbus in between book signings.

6/11/09
I added a link so you could download the entire EZ-EFI manual from either the Technical Download Page or the EZ-EFI page.

6/9/09
I updated the System Timing Diagram on the Technical Download page to show the effects of changing the Injector Opening Retard value in the XFI software.

6/5/09
Cartech sent me the actual front and back covers for my new Hemi book.

5/21/09
* I added a "Buy Now" button so people could order the book easily.
* Also, I've been working on how to increase fuel economy on big Mopars.  This will soon be added to the MPG page.
* Soon, I will also add the ability to purchase any FAST products on-line.

5/19/09
I have added a quick tuning guide to the Technical Download page.  I am selling more and more XFI systems to remote sites where I cannot visit or do the tune. More and more customers are doing their own tuning. The actual FAST documentation is accurate, but not printed.  You must install the software on your laptop and select HELP to see the documentation. It's very thorough, in sequence, and includes everything you need to know; but I have had customers tell me that once they had their system installed and the basic parameters have been set, they wanted a quicker document that sort of went through the tuning process in a overview step-by-step process.  So I wrote the document Setting up the FAST XFI System.doc  I hope this can help.

Little things are often overlooked such as:
* The system will never go into closed loop if CTS (warm up fuel) is being added.
* The throttle follower can hold the IAC open if the idle throttle setting is too high.
* Using the "G" key to see a 3D version of the VE table really helps smoothing things out.
* Using the "L" key during closed loop tuning to help select the correct VE value in real time.

Added pictures of a very unusual engine at the top of the "photos" page.

Customer Joe Karnes "kicks butt" at Firebird. Joe's engine can be seen below.
Here's a photo and the text from Firebird Raceway:

Joseph Karnes is one tough customer. Not only did he win the first day of the Stinker Stores Season Opener, but he followed up with a postcard perfect weekend by winning the second and final day, too. Driving his (Fast Man EFI) injected `73 Cuda (street driven mind you), Karnes belted out runs of .100/12.76 (12.62 dial), .021-red/12.94 (12.62), .147/12.62 (12.62), .068/12.65 (12.62) and a final round .106/12.61 (12.60) on Saturday. Then Sunday he posted a .117/12.65 (12.60), .112/12.90 (12.64), .109/12.64 (12.64), .085/12.65 (12.62) and a .072/12.64 (12.62) to wrap up the "undefeated" weekend. Everybody better hope Joseph gets sent out of town on work or perhaps we could conveniently locate the next one or two Outlaw Street point's races on the same day he is getting married! Job well done, Joseph - guess you won't be bringing the Mustang out anytime soon (after all this success with your Cuda). Firebird Staff photo

Here's Joes engine:

I won the Quick-16 class ($5000 baby!) at Mopars At The Strip with my Pump Gas Bandit Land Shark dragster.
The guy on my right is Nitro Joe the Quick-16 coordinator.
The guy on my left is Mark, my "pit crew".
The engine is a Mopar wedge using a FAST XFI ECU on 91 octane.
In the first three elimination rounds that car ran 5.418, 5.416 and 5.416 ETs (1/8 mile).
How's that for consistency ???

1)The EZ-EFI is starting to get a real positive buzz in the industry. I have included the EZ-EFI datasheets on the home page (or HERE).
2) The NEW 2009 FAST Catalog is now available on-line from the home page (or HERE).
(This is a 3.5meg, 36 page, .pdf file)

3/9/09
The FAST EZ-EFI has finally been released - and it works. For more info see the products page.

3/6/09
Added a few pictures of recent engines to the photo page.

My new book is coming out in August.  You can buy it in advanced through Amazon, or any book seller.

2/5/09
Stage-V has been helping me with the Hemi book I'm writing. I mentioned to Eric that he should really release an EFI
version of his dual in-line Hemi manifold so that no one has to convert one.  He did!  See the "Products" page.
He even did one for a low deck Hemi!  Wow...
